Patient Participation Group

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

Atrium Health is inviting all registered patients to join the Patient Participation Group. Atrium Health wants your comments on what you like about your surgery, and your feedback on anything you don't think is working well. It is also interested in your views on how to improve the practice.

Whether you are a patient at Crossways or Dorchester surgery, you are warmly invited to join today. It couldn't be simpler to join - simply send us your name, address and e-mail address and, as long as you are a registered patient, you will be added to the group.

The members of the Patient Participation Group will receive e-mails approximately every three months inviting them to contribute their views on particular aspects of the practice. Each e-mail will contain a short questionnaire asking for your views.

The Patient Participation Group will have a real voice in assessing how well Atrium Health is doing and can expect in return that Atrium Health will develop and share an Action Plan.

Orcha App Library

If you or anyone you know has used the Orcha app library or one of the digital health tools available in Dorset – Viso blood pressure app, myCOPD app, myDiabetes app, myAsthma app, ACR self-test tool etc, NHS Dorset's digital team would love to hear from you! Please contact ourdorsetdigital@nhsdorset.nhs.uk to share your story.

Carers

Dorset Council are looking for stories or examples from people who have used or benefitted from the Dorset carers leaflet. Ideally, they would like to hear how the leaflets have been used and what difference it made to the carer and/or organisations giving out the leaflets. If you have experience of giving out or using the leaflet, Amanda Dunning would love to hear from you – if you could provide a few words, a case study or use your mobile to record a video that would be helpful. Please contact Amanda for more information: amanda.dunning@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk
